The Farm

For the love of flowers

Curlew Ridge is truly a celebration of our love for flowers. Previously a horse property, we are slowly restoring the soil and converting paddocks into flower fields. Filled with annual cut flower beds, rows of natives and foliage trees, our little piece of land is something special.

What we plant

We produce a mix of native and non-native seasonal flowers that thrive in our little microclimate, so there’s an ever-changing variety depending on the time of year. Throughout the seasons you’ll find blooms of dahlias, cosmos, sunflowers, everlasting strawflowers, zinnias, billy buttons, statice, stock and amaranthus, plus so many more.

We’re also planting proteas and leucospermum and other native perennials and a range of interesting foliage species.

The process

Our field grown flowers and foliage are grown using sustainable practices with a philosophy that healthy soils equal healthy plants.

We focus on organic principles that allow the environment to function the way mother nature intended, encouraging the bees, butterflies and birds to our gardens that help us produce the beauty that is Curlew Ridge Farms.

We hand sew most of our annual cut flowers and love watching them from their tiny start to seasonal fresh flowers handpicked by our family and farm guests.
